Welcome to Ethan Talks Policy!

   Hi, I'm Ethan Martinez, an incoming freshman at the University of Connecticut majoring in Political Science. I run an opioid abuse nonprofit called DAP South FL, where I’ve partnered with rehab centers and support groups to donate Narcan throughout the community. Through this work, I’ve developed a strong passion for public policy, and I want to make it more engaging for those who aren’t yet as interested as I am.

 

  My blog aims to helps teens and young adults become politically informed by breaking down complex policy into simple, fun explanations. I will highlight how these decisions directly affect their daily lives, showing the importance of policy and empowering them to raise their voices.

   I will try to make policy and governance enjoyable and hopefully enlightening. I am passionate about creating a platform where young people can engage with these topics in a way that both excites and educates.​
